I cannot bear this weather anymore, and while the heat usually lasts until November/early December, when does it actually start raining or the clouds start blocking the sun around in these parts of the Bay Area? (San Pablo, near San Francisco.)

Does anyone know? I haven't actually kept track.

I lived in the Bay area for 3 years. What I remember is that the first rains come in mid October, and the last rain usually falls in mid April. There may be a raindrop or two outside these dates, but generally there is zero rain from mid April to mid October. But after mid October, it can rain so much that there are floods and mudslides! So watch out!

I only lived there a year and the first drop of rain was an actual thunder storm with lighning and everything. It was late Septemeber. Didn;t see a drop between getting there in April till then. But the fog makes up for it right?
