It is not a very good experience unless you want prostitutes. I am not exaggerating....it is a place where foreign men go to dance (and more) with prostitutes. You can even see them hanging around outside.

There are some really great nightclubs in Rio..... check out where is the happening place when you get there. Ask around and find out where the Cariocas (the people of Rio) are going at that time.
