Free music websites that let you download music are illegal, along with recording music from sources such as Yahoo! Music. If you are caught using either you could face serious fines.
All I've ever really used is Napster and Rhapsody. They're good for what I need.
PS: LimeWire gives you a bunch of viruses on your computer and it'll eventually say it doesn't work anymore. It's the cheapest little site on the net. Don't use it and pretend like it's not even there.

Ok, I don't know who that is saying Limewire is horrible with spyware and viruses because that's BULLSHIT! Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT use bearshare or morpheus... they are loaded with spyware that will corode your computer and destroy your harddrive.
Keep using Limewire as long as it works because I think the sueing story is just a rumor.
