yes you are most probably depressed due to a broken heart.... this is quite 'normal'...... i would go and talk to a counsellor about how you are feeling and what has been going on for you..... it gives you the opportunity to have time to talk about your stuff..... without judgement......... happy that you have stopped self harming and you seem to be on the right path.... good luck for the future

Chin up. Life goes on and one day you won't even remember her. But to answer your question, yes, you should definitely see a counsellor. It can only make things better. And if you are really desperate to speak to someone then you should try SAMARITANS if you live in the UK or RI otherwise Samaritans are a member of Befrienders International. I have attached the numbers and a website were you can look up the number whichever country you are in. They will help you with anything you might need. Even getting in touch with a good, qualified counsellor.
I hope everything works out for you and keep in mind that you will overcome this. You are stronger then this and you will survive. If you only test yourself, you will see that you are bounds and leaps stronger then you ever imagined. Don't do something foolish that will destroy your purpose here. We are all here for a reason. And harming yourself will not help end the pain but will it will inflict infinite more times the pain you are feeling now to your family and friends (the people that REALLY love you).
Survive. Live.

If you're only a teenager, then I'd work through it. Nearly every teenager gets depressed at some point.
Don't let your broken heart rule your life, however, as it can drag you down, I know. Get out with friends and do something active.

Stop listening to Blink -182...
At 18 you have your whole life ahead of you. Are you being medicated at the moment - it can take up to 4 weeks for the symptoms to abate. Will your medication be based on your meeting with the counsellor?

broken heart is the bebinning of welcome new heart, maybe it is your fate not to be togethere with that person, early is better that late. u r weird, u didnt give a clue of your story, if u r so mysterious, people around u cant trust u. u should examine yourself first. and then move on for life. dont fall into the same track again.
