I fractured a couple in a car wreck pretty bad too!
I think it is safe because I still ride quite often, but it will cause you pain and discomfort. You might as well get use to that cause it lasts forever. you might consider taking a couple of vicoden with you and things wont be that bad!

Just phone your doctor. The Nurse will ask him & get back to you. A 10% fracture isn't that big & if you are young, you probably have already healed. Of course, if you get thrown by a horse, you could break something else! Call the Doc!

I'm an x-ray tech and I've seen plenty of these fractures. Now, without specifically seeing yours I cannot give you a definite answer. However, I can tell you that more then likely the answer is no. You should really see your Dr. and have him re-evaluate you again. But please know that if you are not re-evaluated and you decide upon yourself to go anyway you could do permanent damage if your body is not ready. You may face long term damage that was not initially there.

I know you want to go, but listen to the medical advice. Some care taken now, may mean you will be in the best of health to take up opportunities that come up later on.

Ask your doctor, with all due respect to charlesf, no two injuries are the same and yours may not be ready to handle the stress from riding.

ask ur doctor. i think its a little too early to put that much stress on ur back already. bone breaks take a long time to heal especially ur back. but ask ur doctor.

No way. You could seriously injure your back more, maybe even paralysis.
