• wrap food in to cook
• put over turkey so it doesn't get burned
• cover bowls in fridge so food won't dry out
• arts and crafts, halloween costumes especially (for some reason the Tin Man comes to mind)
• tin foil balls to throw around
• science activities like making little boats to float in the water
• lots of medical uses, sealing sterile surgical instruments when they're autoclaved
• professional photographers use it to light up their subjects by reflecting the sunlight

ugh, that's all I can think of for now -- I agree a wonderful material!

I use it to barbeque salmon. Mundane I know, but the only other use I have for it is to build an antenna to communicate with aliens from other worlds. Thank God for Reynold's wrap. I like Matthew's answer. Good response. Here is a tin foil ball being thrown at you. Look out! Matthew is also the name of my son. You have an interesting moniker. How did you choose it?

u can make statues of tinfoil or wrap some left over food ^.^
