Well we have to put them somewhere and it makes sense to put them somewhere that wouldn't be missed if it was oblitarated, I say build some in Wales and Ireland as well and then we can get rid of all the crap at the same time.

i really don't see there being any Chernobyl repeat on Scottish soil

however at present Scotland is producing excess power to its requirements so why would we need any more? we don't.

just another argument for full and proper devolution lets hope next time round its not raining and we'll get enough of a voter turn out

No, of course it doesn't.
You are right, the risk is too great and you should campaign against them - I will support you.
I have only been to Scotland a few times, but I love it. The wildlife there needs protection.
Go to your local MP and your national MP and get their support.
We all need to take care of our planet and take more repsonsibilty.

For a campaign against this, see:

Also try Friends of the Earth:

There are lots of site that may help you - do a search and chekc them out.

I Hope the ones I have suggested are helpful. :>)

I am not a Tory, but check out the Conservative site for Scotland and get your local Tory MP to support you:

They have lots of heather and thistles, so they don't need more plants of any description.
