I think it's because so many people feel so alone and have such a lack of a good support system that it makes us feel too overwhelmed. If you have a great foundation in your life, then things bounce off of you. If you don't have a good foundation, then every little thing is more threatening. We are all trying to do the best we can and we are all purusing our right to life, liberty and happiness...so when we hear offensive things, it simply makes us feel bad. No one wants to feel bad.

People these days are always on the defensive. Our society has gotten extremely self involved. I really think we need to try and think about the other guy every once in a while.

Cuz thats they way mom and dad acted.

Mom and dad showed us what was normal behavior.
