That's a hell of a lot of ground to cover. You've got the Mayflower, King Philip's War, the Salem Witch Trials, the French and Indian War... lot going on there.

Pick up 'Mayflower' by Nathaniel Philbrick
'The Portable Enlightenment Reader' the intro will give you a decent overview
'A Delusion of Satan' by Fawn Hill for the Salem witches
'The Witchcraft of Salem Village' by Shirley Jackson (a kids' book, but well written)

That's probably not what you wanted for an answer, but again, hell of a lot of ground to cover. You could skim these books to get a good overview. Good luck!

In short:

Enlightment: when all Philadelphia streets were first lit with candles by night

Great Awakening: when the revolutionaries realized they had to revolt

Salem Witch Trials: house wall falls on governor's wife, woman that didn't like her walking by, governor calls a witch, many accusations follow

Sounds like you're writing a book.

There is literally a million words that could be written in response to your questions.

Rather than having us do your homework FOR you, how about you read the material, write the paper, and let us know what kind of grade you got, okay?

Good luck! - Stuart
