I tried installing the most recent nano update and it totally crashed the ipod! I was online with tech support all day doing the 5Rs and nothing worked! Help! Anyone else ever solve this problem?

I can't even restore it to wipe it out because there is a disk write error.

You will have to wipe it and reinstall everything. I had the same problem, corrupted files, my sister unplugged it before she was supposed to. At first it didn't even recognize my ipod but I did eventually get irt to work. That is the only solution I know.

My destiny is SO uncertain and intensely crammed with question marks. yet i actually wish that it is quickly crammed with a brilliant sort of exclamation marks with astounding words precise till now them! *very hopeful* i understand i take advantage of a brilliant sort of exclamation marks when I type! I type precisely like I communicate! :)

go to http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ and download ipod updater then install and plug in your ipod and open the program and it will find your ipod and then click on 1 butoon to turn it back to factory setting.
