I saw a job posted that indicated "A+ certification or equivalent needed". What is an A+ certification, is that like CompTIA? Not sure where to go to find out on the web because I keep running into certification ads. Any ideas?

An A+ certification means you are competent in fixing and troubleshooting both hardware and software (software being Microsoft Windows) computers.

You can go to comptia's website:

http://www.comptia.org
