I know a fantastic lady called Janette who is based in Sunderland.

I have been learning on and off with her for years.
She teaches all styles of music and will offer you the chance to do exams and performances and all sorts of other fun and rewarding things.
I started playing when i was about 11 (with another teacher) and originally played pop keyboard but lost interest as the teacher wasn't the most inspiring. When i began with Janette i switched to a more classic piano playing style and now i have a much greater range from pop, jazz, classical to anything i fancy really.
My latest adventure was to play War of the World along with Janette at a smallish concert that she organised herself.
I highly recommend her.

There is nothing more rewarding than being able to play your favourite tunes.
