im reading this article in "psychology today" and it says that men or males are definately more honest when it comes to communication/ they are more blunt or open and will tell you straight out how they feel about issues/ whereas women will tend to hide feelings and emotions because they are afraid of being hurt~~`` hmmmmm i dont know i guess it would depend right???

I think it depends on an individual's past history with relationships. If a person has been hurt in a relationship, male or female, they are probably more apt to hide their true feelings. In personal experience, my husband never had a serious relationship before me and he is VERY straight forward about his thoughts and feelings. However, I have been in relationships with men where it's like pulling teeth to get a straight answer out of them.

If guys were really honest as they say they are,we ladies would of been more respected and the world would of been a better place where relationship is concern.Sometimes guys say things to us just to get us into their beds, and when they think they got what they want they start looking for a way out, then you wonder where has that I LOVE YOU gone to.

My guy is very honest, and I need that. He's not always FORETHCOMING with his feelings, I do have to pry, of course, but once said, it's blunt and straight up. And yeah, I like to hide it, too much to deal with.

I think that it is a case by case basis. For example...the great love of my life will not tell me how he feels about me. He just got a divorce,and I just got married. (our timing seems to be a bit off)
I have always told him how I felt about him....I got married for the wrong reasons. He says that he wants me to have a chance to live my life. You have to love a guy like that.
I think people don't always tell the truth 100%....they keep a little bit to themselves.

Yes, guys are generally brutally honest. Unless of course it is about THEIR feelings, and then they are not honest at all.
this is not becuase they are hiding something. It is becuase they don't know them
