Im from new orleans and with a three hour layover I can honestly tell you u are gonna be bored.. theres nothing much in the airport a few stores that you can run into and look at some things... mostly food stores and some that sell spices and what not.. Theres nothing close to the airport to go see really by the time you would get out the airport get back thru the security points and all you wouldnt have time to get to the quarter or see anything interesting

Make sure you are at the highest point of the airport and watch the water level.

Ask them to play go fish, ask everyone to join in a game of family feud. lol. Start up a party. Tell everyone personally they are invited. Ask names and numbers, email addresses to keep in touch to remember this day. Start a sing along! lol
