In internet explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, then go to where it says Clear History and click on that..
I'd also suggest, while you're in there, to delete cookies and delete files.
For Yahoo Search, click on the icon that looks sort of like a down arrow, and then go click on Clear History.

1. Click start/run and type in regedit.
2. Once regedit is opened navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Explorer Bars\{C4EE31F3-4768-11D2-BE5C-00A0C9A83DA1}\FilesNamed MRU.
3. On the right side you will see a list of strings. Delete everything in the list after default.

Just....well if its yahoo....go to the pencil thing next to the search box on the way left and click clear history....the google one should look the same. I think that helps...
