In other cultures and countries, certain things are acceptable that we don't do in the US (I can only speak for here). In India, cows are oftentimes viewed as sacred and are not consumed. My friends who are Hindu are appauled that most US citizens eat beef. My vegetarian diet offends those who eat meat, but I think all animal consumption is wrong.

Specifically, in China, the population is so out of control (and the government is too corrupt) to feed everyone. Thus, whatever is available to eat, you eat. I don't think it's right, but neither is a 6 billion human population (over-breeding anyone?).

If you are concerned and want to help, go to peta2.com. It's designed for a younger crowd of animal rights people.

A. Why can't you write in good grammar?

I don't know why you might think Chinese people are mean to animals. There may be some animals their culture views differently than ours. They could see us the same way. How you're brought up makes the difference.

Try not to put other people in categories. It's that type of thinking (that other people are wrong in the way they lead their lives) which leads to misunderstandings and war.

A lot of Chinese oppose the abuse of many endangered animals and animals usually taken as pets and using them as food. I feel saddened that people in the West are so often accustomed to taking what they see, which is indeed a fraction of the whole, as representative of the whole Chinese race.

I also heard a lot about underaged single mothers and campus shootouts in the US but I certainly would not ask "Why Americans become so promiscous and carefree and violent at teenage?"
