Technically, yes. The minor arcana sort of represent a normal deck of playing cards. 1-10, then you take out the pages (princesses) and you have your queen, prince and king. You can use The pages (princesses) as joker cards or you can choose from the major arcana for joker cards.
BUT I do not believe that this is a good way to treat tarot cards. Tarot cards are supposed to be respected for their spiritual value not dealt with as playing cards. I don't want to go as far as saying the consequences will be dire, but that is not their purpose and you are better off getting a normal deck of playing cards.

Yes. Leave out the Major Arcana, though.
Playing cards are based on Tarot cards. In fact, you can read playing cards like Tarot cards.

Maybe, but I love this line about it...
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died."

As a matter of fact you can at poker.askthecards.info -- we use the minor arcana for ace thru 10 we have one extra face card with the Page/Princess card (depending on deck used) and each hand we select one random wild card from the major arcana. It s a fun game and a good way to learn the tarot.. and it s free to play!

I'm sure one could, but you'd be more than
"tempting fate".
Playing poker with Tarot Cards would be rather
like urinating on a Bible...
it is completely irreverent and rude,
and you just may incur some Divine wrath whilst
you're at it.
I advise against doing any such thing.

Of course you can, however there are drawbacks....
Two weeks ago we couldn't find any regular cards for our weekly poker game so we settled on the tarot cards. The first hand I got a full house and the dealer died!

Experts in numerology use the numbers to determine the best time for major moves and activities in life. Numerology is used to decide when to invest, when to marry, when to travel, when to change jobs, or relocate. Numerology is an occult science and for me it's fascinating. It is perhaps the easiest of the occult arts to understand and use. All you need is the birth date and the complete name of an individual to unlock all of the secrets that the numbers hold.

TAROT cards ARE NOT a game. Don't fool around with them if you have no clue what you are doing. You could cause some bad mojo your way.

I guess but you would have to assign a value to each card and remember it.....I dont think tarot cards have numbers on them...so IT may be hard.
