You don't say how old you are, but it sounds like you are pretty young. Kids in school find any reason at all to discriminate. If it wasn't that it would be something else.
For instance, we live in a small town, my kids went to a school where they were all white and had to wear uniforms. The idea was to make nobody different. But, these kids started dissing the ones who didn't have the same kinds of shoes. Or sometimes, the "in" group would say "Let's all wear red shirts tomorrow." Then pick on anybody who didn't have a red shirt on.
It goes on everywhere, all the time, no matter what color you are or where you live. Kids can just be so immature and mean.
So, don't let it worry you about "the gang" giving you a hard time.
They really aren't your friends, or they wouldn't act like that. Find some nice people to spend time with who don't hang in gangs.
You're much better off that way anyway.

I think u all contributed to the racist thing and just wanting to hang out with someone or continuing to kick it with people like that is wrong.
Look chick Hate is Hate, Racism is a form of hate...So it's a matter of time before you got a taste of it from them. They need to focus there anger and Hate on someone and u were it...
u fueled they're hate cause u wanted to be accepted They want to be accepted too...that's why people are racist they want to make a group to hate so there's two sides ( so people will be on there side) but in the reall world there's not sides ur ALONE...
But don't worry there are cool people out there u just shouldn't look so hard and maybe you'll find some cool friends that are good for you. Get into a sport or extra activity to make u forget about that situation. Volunteer :)

Heck, yes! In school this year, I knew a couple of guys who went back and forth calling each other racist names. They would laugh and joke about it, but what you're dealing with, as I see it, is that your friends are straight up racist. Especially if they treated you different and compared you to others and called you names! Also, if they would not hang out with you, but when they needed you did, then thats a no-no in their friendship. Maybe you can find out a way to slowly talk to them about how you feel and see if they were really being racist toward you. Because I didn't quite get everything you wrote. So, talk to them and if you conclude that they WERE being racist. Don't hang out with them, it'll only make you feel worst. Hope this helps.

They do sound racist. You are better than they are. Go ahead and look for some other friends. No one should ever say the N word. I hate that word and anyone who uses it is trashy.
Sounds like the mixed girl is jealous of you. Move on and let them see what a good friend they lost.
Good luck to you.

They are being very bigoted and racist. The mixed girl needs a reality check. She needs to realize that she is also part black/african american and she is basically putting herself down by talking about you the way she and the others are. You sound like a very nice young lady and I am sure you won't have any problems making new friends who don't have a problem with your heritage or your race. I hope everything works out for you!

With all due respect (as they say) to your friends, they just sound like a bunch of ignorant, small-minded losers. They treated you crummy because losers don't think about who "was always there for them" the way somebody with some moral fiber would.
Dump those losers. The world is full of people of all different colors who aren't losers like this bunch is. If people see you with these losers they'll think you're one of them, and no nice people will ever want to become your friend. Normal, well adjusted people don't hate other people for no good reason other than their race.

I stopped at Mulatto,
the fact that you even use these terms
suggests that YOU are racist not your friends
you can still hang with "mulattos" and not know you are racist
usually a few drink and the truth is loose

The fact that you are discussing it in racial terms (Mexican, mulatto, black ) indicates racism going on. It doesn't have to be that way, you know - people can look at other people for who they are, not categorize them by their race as your writing does.
Check yourself - and your friends.
Rethink things... you may want to grow up a bit a find people that don't classify so much in racial terms.

Yes, they sound racist. You should never put yourself thru that. Be happy about who you are and NEVER let anyone no matter what color put down your culture. You need to start loving yourself and everything else will fall into place. Go out and find some new friends that will appreciate you!
