What could be wrong with my car, I drove it to the store and when I came back out it keeps turning over when i turn the ignition forward, but it won't click to start up. I haven't had any problems with it except I feel some stallig sometimes when I am trying to speed up or inbetween gears when it is shifting I can feel it lag a little. Any suggestions?

though you didn't provide much info if I was a betting man I woudl put my money on your fuel pump. I would also bet it's a GM. They are notorious for driving somewhere then just refusint to start. then starting sporadically.

AS A GENERAL RULE, when we drive a car, and it runs normally, and then we shut it off, if it has a timing belt, it may fail upon start-up.
Happens all the time, and we wonder what just happened. There is no noise and no warning, it just won't start, even though it cranks over.
If it is a car with a timing belt, and more than 60,000 miles on it, this is the place to look.

Could be your Starter went out, or your Battery is dead. Could also be a Bad Ignition

What year, make model of car.
What engine is in it.
Any upgrades.
