In your opinion, is there always a small place in your heart reserved especially for your first REAL love?

yes for some there first love will aways stay in one heart and soul for some they put it away but never forget a first love will always be wonderful in ones life

Yes I think some people do hold a candle for their first real love and thankfully I will always make sure my candle burns for mine as I am still with him 25 year on.

Yes, I think you will always love that first love. I think its has a lot to do with your brain making those first connections on what it thinks love is and it will always be your first association with it. The feelings are so real and the moment is something you can't forget. I do however feel that the memory is sweeter then the reality of getting back together with your first love.

Sure - it was the first time you felt that excited, that scared, that happy. All those 'firsts' stay in your memory as being more intense than any others, because you had nothing to compare them against then. But that's got nothing to do with the person you were with, it's just how memory works... But yes, even knowing why, even though I'm much happier now without him, even though I was really young and naive, I still dream about him occasionally.... ah well

Ah yes, S. Harris,1st grade..never knew I existed..never held hands or had that first kiss...but boy how my heart would beat in my chest when I was just close to her. No other female has ever had that effect on me since. Yes she still has a place reserved!!

Yes.
I have met him 9 years ago, split up after a year, then dated him again 5 years ago, split up again, and then dated him last year for a while. We wouldnt even talk or acknowledge we know each other during our 4-5 year breaks, and then we would get together and be all over each other. It is so stupid but now I want to be with him again. God, I think I love him.

When i was 14 i fell madly in love but when he asked me out,i had to say no, my mum thought i was too young! i know where he lives, he's got his own business, and i saw him once when i had my first son, it was like something out of grease, when they first meet up in high school. I have never forgotten him, and never will, it would be nice to bump into him again though! He had the most amazing blue eyes and blond hair, mmmmm.....what could've been....everytime i hear the Madness song called..it must be love, i always think of him.No, i will never forget him, ever!

No. There is no place in my heart for my first real love. I married him and divorced him 15 years later and now hate his guts.

Nope my first love hurt me so bad that he will never be IN my heart again. I mean I will always have love for him but not have love like that for him.

yes, i still have trouble staying away from my first love and we haven't technically dated in over five years. the way i feel about my first love is a lot different than the way i feel about any of my other ex's.
