I am 34 and I have a pair of Saucony cross country running shoes that my parents bought for me when I was 15. They still work great!

i have a pair of Merrells that are going on 3 years old and still very comfie.
When the time comes I'll buy another pair. The price is worth it.
They are good with or without socks.

My Doc Martens, 3 pair I've had for over 5 years, still in great shape, and my Sketchers seem to keep going and going. And my one great pair of Kenneth Cole heels, good ole reliable black heels.
