One square mile. Oh wait, did you want that in different units? Ask a better question.

It depends what units you want, in feet it's 5280 times 5280, 5280 feet in a mile, in yards it's 1760 times 1760, 1760 yards in a mile

The area in a square mile is one square mile. If you want it in square feet, you have to multiply 5,280 by 5,280, which I am not going to do, or if you want it in square yards, you multiply 1,760 by 1,760, which I'm not going to do either.

One mile = 5,280 feet. 5,280 times 5,280 = 27,878,400 sq. feet. one acre = 43,560 sq. feet. one sq. mile would be 640 acres
