I always think of infinity. Myself is a dreamer. My mind would be exploring options and more options.

The mind is part of the body. It is enclosed in the body. The function of the mind is infinite. Yes, the brain itself is limited but we have not discovered how to use it's full potential. But the spirit that which I call the mind or that which controls the body is infinite. Anything is possible.

Definitely infinite space. Physically, your mind is enclosed in the skull however the cognitive mind is infinite. See, we can't control our brain, the brain controls us. However, it depends how well you train your mind to open up to this infinite state. Your mind contains all the knowledge in the world.. you just need to train it to an extent when your brain is definitely infinite. If you don't train it, your mind will be enclosed.

"We see ( only) through a glass, darkly." the Bible says. We see only shadows reflected on the wall of a cave, as the ancient Greeks put it. While we like to think that our minds are infinite, we are physically locked inside a box of space and time, so our cognitive abilities are limited, alas! We are making some amazing and kind of scary progress in using our minds as far as technology goes. However, human interactions have a long way to go to raise us above the level of fang and claw.

It can be conceived as being one or the other of those, depending on the level of spiritual development of the person in question. The average modern-day, non-spiritual (even if religious), science-trusting Westerner believes in individuality to such a high degree that it would be almost inconceivable to him or her that we can be, indeed are, much more than the physical confines of our body. Spiritual philosophies leading to true enlightenment speak of evolving towards being One with the infinite. But it takes much understanding and usually that translates to time spent in spiritual self-development. It rarely happens on its own.

Mine is not enclosed, mine is a panoramic view of life and all it can possibly hold and give. A space of much knowledge to continue on.

hmmmmm....
It is limitless in so much as anything can be fantasized about, but it is constrained to the experiences and inputs that one has grown up with....
A truly active imagination has a seemingly limitless amount of possibilities - just look at what fiction writers throw out: but how many are truly unique ideas....literature historians reckon that there are only 6 true ideas for stories (love/ revenge/ etc.,) but with a billion variations to them...
