I read a little of his book in Waldenbooks yesterday. He talked about how he was picked on for being skinny, and how it helped him become the fast wide receiver he is today.
The funny thing is, for all the hell bullies caused for him when he was younger, he now does it for his teammates and organizations he plays for...and against.
Is it ego(Terrell?)mania? Is he just making excuses? Is he a really nice guy with a chip on his shoulder? I could see that, but he's really starting to get annoying.
However, I do believe the NFL is a tad bit too stodgy and conservative sometimes. Going haywire over the Sharpie incident was a bit much.

Too much ego not enough brain power. He's good, and wants everyone to know how good he is. I wonder if he knows how many records he would own right now, if he had just shut up and played? If he took a Jerry Rice work ethic and mentality to the game he'd be 10x richer and loved in whatever city he played in.

I think his biggest problem is he can't keep his mouth shut. The man's an outstanding athlete no question. If he would let his playing talk for him, he would be respected by everyone. Instead, he constantly lashes out at anyone and everyone who doesn't do and say what he wants. I hope he can control his outbursts because he has incredible talent. I would not bet money however that he will change.
