Go to your start menu, and then go to control panel, then click on appearance and themes, and then click on the option you want (change computers theme, change computers desktop, etc) and change it and say apply and then say save. It is different for some computers I have a Windows XP.

You can set your homepage by going to Tools and then Internet Options. At the top of the menu is a place to reset the home page. You can also go to Control Panel and then Settings and Display (icon) in order to change your desktop display. You could follow the directions given under the Display section. You would have to have the picture that you wanted on the screen saved as a file in one of the sections or folders such as 'My Documents'. Otherwise, I cannot tell you what to do. Perhaps if you go to the Yahoo page that you want on your screen and then click onto 'Save As' under 'File', you could set it as as Desktop page by going to Display through the instructions I already provided above.

Are you talking about the wallpaper image or the image that appears during your computer boot-up?
