im 12yrs. and 5ft 5 i get made fun of and every1 in school calls me the giant plz help :) ps. i think i look tall because i wear big clothes

Are you a girl or boy?
If you're a girl, you may be taller than everyone now that you're in Junior High. I was as tall as you at that age, but my height stopped at 5'6" my 8th grade year. I was taller than everyone until we got to high school .. then everyone goes through a growth spurt, and they will all catch up to you or pass you up.
Don't sweat it .We don't choose the body and the face we are given in life .. all we can do is be proud of who we are, and own it!!
Besides, the girls who say that are just jealous because they know they'll never be tall runway models when they're older, and the boys say it to make themselves feel better because they can't stand the fact that you're taller than them. Shorties!!

When I was 12yrs I was 5ft7 but people didn't make fun of me. Now I'm 5ft10 and I'm 16. I wouldn't consider 5ft5 to be tall for a 12 year old but you may feel tall around other people that are like 5ft0 tall. Don't worry about those people that make fun of you! You should be proud to be tall. Next time someone makes fun of you then ask them why they are so short, that might make them back away. Good luck with everything!

You know what? I was 5'5 at the age of 12 too. People used to tease me about my height too. But I'm now 28 and I'm only 5'6 but some of the most beautiful celebrities are tall. For example, Gwen Stefani, J-lo, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Cambell, etc...

You're a little tall for your age- I'm 18 and 5'5". Don't worry, if you were shorter people would still say stupid things. They're just immature, and they probably are secretly jealous of you in some way. Don't worry about it, they'll all catch up and it will be fine. Just try not to let it bug you, the more it does, the more they'll do it because that's what they want. Just be proud of who you are- you are unique.

i was that tall when i was 15 too. Now im 5"7 and im 18. I cant believe people make fun of you....dont wear big clothes then lol!! ull look really great, guys will be giving a second look..

No, you are not tall for your age. That's like "Is my hair long for my age?". Seriously, there is no height you have to be at 12 years old, so you can not be tall nor short for your age. Youre either tall or short, but never for your age. And besides your are the average female height. The average height for girls is 5'5", so give it a rest. Besides, you are lucky youre so tall. IF you continue getting taller, you could be 5'10" (model height) or taller! Lucky. Hey, I'm 17 and I'm only 5'2".

Yeah your tall for your age but there is nothing wrong with that! My brother is 15 and is 6ft6'. He never gets made fun of everybody wants to be his friend.

i was also called the school giant.but i had the style of a super model.i was 11yrs and i was 5ft.5 but after that yer i stop growing.maybe you will to. right now i am the schools cutie.
