When can we expect Harry Potter Book 7 to be published?
Although she said she’d started Harry Potter 7, J.K. Rowling stated that because of wanting to devote time to her baby,
Realistically, I don't think I'm going to be able to do real work on it until next year. I see next year as the time that I’m really going to write seven. The 7th Book is due out the first part of July, 2007, with the 5th movie release coming a couple weeks afterwards

I had heard something like July 7, 2007...but not totally sure as the 5th movie is slated for a 7/13/07 release

JULY 7th, 2007!!!! but i have sad news. has anyone realized that someone big is dieing in this one...well if you read all the books then you should remember the enchanted mirror. Remember ron looked into it and he saw himself as head boy and Quidditch Captain!? well he is head boy, he did make the team...so what if he is captain? then, harry saw his parents and him putting the stone in his pocket. when he put the stone in his pocket he broke the enchantment but he still saw his parents....well, his parents cant come back from the dead so the only other thing is that he is going to be joining his parents! harry is going to die....all of this links to the death of harry. thats why i love the these books! everything connects in some way and your kinda like a detective trying to link them together to find out who dies. o and did any of you know that J.K. Rowling wrote the seventh book first and worked her way down? ya, the last book she wrote was the first one!!! i think that that is soooooooo cool and must be realy hard to do...ok well this answer is really long...o ok one more thing..the movie is coming out July 13, 2007! next summer is going ot be awesome....! ok peace..hope you like my info and babbling..lol

The exact date of its release is not yet known but it should be sometime next year (2007). I love this series and i too am having a hard time waiting for the next book to see what happens next! A source that might help you is the leakycauldron.com

The respondant who said that the release date isn't certain yet is right.
Rowling is not sure when she'll have time to finish the book. It is likely she'll aim to have it ready to print by July 7, 2007 but that is by no means solid.
