Just because you don't know what it is doesn't mean you can delete it. You may not need it but your computer does. If you go scouring thru all the files on your hard drive and start deleting crap either you are going to have to pay someone serious cash to fix it or you will have to impose on one of your friends spare time needlessly to fix it. Leave it alone. I'm serious just use your computer and forget about everything else there that you don't understand unless you want to take some classes and learn that way. Have a good day.

NO.....
The .dll (dynamic link librabries) are needed by your system to operate. Some of these .dll's are use by the system the entire time you are logged on, thus preventing you from deleting them..
If you are however, able to delete most of these files, the system will no longer function normally.

.DLL are the data dictionary/system files.....if U delete them U'r pc won't work.

It depends on your goals, if you are intending to make your system non-fuctional then sure, go right ahead. I think it will actually be harder than you think to do so.
