Depends. Were you using the Personal Protective equipment provided. If not then sorry no compensation for you. But if PPE was not adequate IE dammaged or not issued then you might have a case. In my opinion your case would be stronger if PPE issued was not adequate. You can refuse to do a job if you haven't been issued with the correct safety equipment although this is easier said than done.

in basic terms get a bottle of Caustic Soda, Lime, Blood and Napalm Away. Works wonders. Billie Mays sells it inspite of the incontrovertible fact that its many times marketed throughout episodes of The Sopranos for some reason =/

I am curious how you got burns on your neck and no where else.
If it were because of your carelessness , nothing
If another employee caused it , maybe
Does it affect you physically?
You can only be compensated for your medical expenses if you are not left physically disabled.

Sorry pal, maybe none if you didnt report it to your first aid attendant at work. You need records and reports of doctors visits to have any claim to your company...

I worked with caustic soda where I worked at a brewery...I know its powerful stuff...we used a 6% solution to clean the pipes at the brewery I worked at...

My advise...see a doctor...see your first aid attendant..and get a report...

Get yourself well first and then think of compensation.

depends how you got them. They are just scars though. I've lots of them on my arms from my job. Not looking for compensation though. You'd probably have to pay the lawyer most of it.

Lots of it....onus is on the employer to prove they did all they could to prevent it.....ignore the rubbish about the PPE and stuff....they must MAKE you wear it.....and if they don't they're still at fault.
