How many of you work with your spouse or even own a business with them? How do you feel it effects your relationship?

me and hubby own a business and work together...let me sum it up for you....aaaaauuuuuugggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I own a small business together that we both work at, however he is there more than me as I also run a daycare from my home. When we first went into the business we made a pact that work stayed at work and family stayed at home. Anything we need to figure out about the business we do it there and leave it there same with life here at home. I am better with finaces so I deal with all of that end and he deals with the ordering and customer contact he doesn't tell me how to do my work and I don't tell him and it works out great.

Doom! When you work with someone all day you end up working with them all night. Instead of it being a bad day at work and the other person listens and offers understanding, they offer opinion and it usually falls around how you or they did something wrong. It is easy to bed an understanding lover and a little bit harder to love someone who did the wrong thing.
Pick one, before you lose both.

We work for the same company, but different locations. He is a manager, and I am only a supervisor, so technically he can tell me what to do. He is very careful about it though. We do just fine working together.

My wife used to work with me. She is now working as a city employee and I am so proud of her.
Now, I'm working harder than ever! But the pay is great!
My wifes extra money goes to shopping needs.

My husband and I work for the same company. I love it and so does he. We are able to take breaks and lunch together which makes the day go by faster until we can be together again.

My husband & I own and run a pet shop together. I know it has brought us closer together. We work well together at work and at home. I love him & respect him more now than I did when we first got married.

We do and have gotten along very well. We discuss big decisions and each can make the little ones. Works very well.
