Contact a geologist and take the rock to him/her. That is your best bet. Most Universities have Geo's on hand that can do this for you. If this is not an option then you can take photos of it on a white background like paper or something and email it to a Geo to get it identified but it may not work if the photo is crap.

find out if the city u live in has a gem and mineral club. they should b able to tell u. if not go to a local college's geology department, they could tell u or refer u to some1 that could. GOOD LUCK!!!!
