I have never had a bad experience with eBay. You just have to be a smart shopper, really read those ratings of the sellers, and bid appropriately for your junk.

Not really a horror story but I bought a movie that I had been looking for months for almost 2 months ago and still haven't received it and since it has been over 45 days, it's past the time limit for Pay Pal to help me. The seller had a perfect record when I bought it but I recently noticed that another buyer had the same problem around the same time I did. I had tried to buy it a few months before then from another seller and someone that hadn't been in the bidding outbid me in the last seconds.

I've always had a great experience both buying and selling on ebay. Watch out for some of the other auction sites because alot of the sellers are fraudulent and were removed by ebay and now they do their damage on non ebay auction sites. I've had over 400 successful transactions on ebay and I had two transactions with two other auction sites and was cheated both times.

None I've been lucky. I always buy from people who have sold lots of stuff.
