Today all of the sudden when I went to roll up my passenger side front window, it would not go up. I have power windows so I tried from the drivers side and from the passenger side as well and nothing. When you try to roll it up, you can hear a sound like it's trying to roll up but nothing happens. All of the other windows will go up except for that one. Help!!!

the window regulator has went bad on it,, i own and operate a repair shop,,and its not uncommon for the drivers side to go bad,,because this window is used more than any other one is,,it can be repaired with a new regulator assembly,,and it don't take a rocket scientist to put it in either,,any good local mechanic can install it for you,,you may also want to check at your local junk yard for one from a wrecked vehicle,,it will be less than half the cost of a new one,,and work just as good,,i hope this helps,,i do this job a lot,,and 150 bucks is usually the total cost for everything.

Common problem.
The good news is the motor is still good , because you can still hear it running. Bad news, the window regulator is bad which is a whole lot more expensive than a motor.
