Go the ER as soon as possible sweetie. It sounds like you may be having a miscarriage but let's hope not! Only an OB/GYN can diagnose you correctly so the best way for you is to seek medical attention pronto.

I found this site that explains the different causes of bleeding during mid to late pregnancy and it may be useful in giving you some peace of mind:

Any signs of bleeding should be reported to your doctor immediately. Some spotting is normal in the early months, but if you are actually having clots, even small clots, it is not a good sign. I listened to others who said it was normal and I wound up finding out that my "pregnancy" was in fact a molar pregnancy. Don't rule out anything and just call your doctor.

Unfortunately it does sound like it could be. I had 3 miscarriages and I never had cramping with them. I am 21 weeks along now and I did have some spotting at 8 weeks with light clotting and everything was fine.

I would go to the hospital asap!! I do however know that dark blood is old, and red blood is new, Ive had spotting in my 3rd mth, at 26 wks, and just this week. Everytime I go though they say some spotting is normal.. but my blood has always been red in color. I hope all goes well .. try not to stress even though I know it is hard but that can cause the spotting to get worse. (The hosp.told me that the 2nd time, I went in for spotting)

No, I would not worry. My wife did the same thing and panicked. Its blood escaping from your uterus. That far into term, there is a lot of pressure in there. And the dark color is a sign that its blood that been there for a while. Fresh blood is bright with oxygen. You shouldn't worry, see your doctor if it will help your concious, but be calm. Stress only makes it worse on your bodies processes.

Before you do anything, relax. Getting more and more tense isn't going to be any good.

If it is a miscarriage, there isn't anything you can do to stop it. If you need to, go to the doctor TODAY and find out NOW. It could be spotting, but I am not an expert.

Usually, and I could be wrong, miscarriages will be painful.

I'm not much help, and I am sorry.

Sometimes in early pregnancy, women have bleeding like that. I have had 3 kids, and in the begining of 2 of them, I had a light period. I don't really know the medical reason for it, but don't worry to much about it, because stress itself is a major factor in early miscarriages.

Very possible. That doesn't sound good at all. But this what I want to know - Why the f*ck are you posting HERE, rather than taking your butt to the emergency room? What's the deal with waiting until tomorrow? Don't you want this child????????????

I think you should prepare yourself that your body may be cleaning itself from having already lost the baby. Sorry, I hope I am wrong! Good luck. Just say a prayer.

It could go either way right now. Make sure you tell the medical staff - there may be things you can do (like take rest) to help. Good luck.
