I am 12 years old and have been getting dizzy spells for about six months. They aren't triggered by anything, I'll just be sitting or walking or whatever and then all of a sudden all I can see is green and black swirls and the room feels like it's tilting. I haven't been to a doctor or anything...does anybody know what this could be and what I should do?

I suffer from the same thing. You can be experiencing dizziness for many reasons. It could be associated with low blood pressure, rapid breathing, low blood sugar, inner ear problems, heart problems, poor diet, lack of ample sleep, and many more (you may even be getting your period soon). You need to go see your doctor and may have to undergo a few tests to see what's been causing your dizziness (ask your mom to take you). Hope you feel better soon!

You need to tell your parent...it could be lots of different things. Meanwhile, drink plenty of water, don't consume tons of treats, and eat some good healthy foods. Could have something to do with recently beginning your menses also..if that's a possibility. Anyways, tell your mom.

You could be anemic (low blood iron) or diabetic or your ears might have too much wax buildup. You should get a physical examination by a doctor.

You could have high blood pressure. You should really go to a doctor or you may need glasses.
