This car is fitted with door locks, that lock automatically, when driven over fifteen MPH.
It doesn't do that anymore, but will lock, when I do it manually, with the power switch. Any ideas as to cause and fix?
thank you in advance.

Read your owners manuel , this feature can be turned off or on .
Has your battery been recently replaced or gone done. have you jump started the vehicle?
If not you may have a bad "body control module"

P.S. If your speedometer stops working ,it can't tell how fast your going to lock the doors.

Contact the dealer, maybe there is a way of turning off this feature that you don't know about. Unless it unlocks when it stops I would rather not have that option, it sounds like a pain in the butt to have to unlock the door so you can get out.

Most likely the relay that causes this to happen is not working. I would say for sure it is an electrical issue, and depending on the age of the car, which I would guess is newer, likely a computer problem

most likely a sensor telling the locks to lock has gone bad. have the vehicles body control module checked for codes. or dont worry about it.

you've an electric powered short, visit a educated specialist. present day autos have complicated electric powered schematics, attempting to hint down the precedence your self could be very nearly a waste of time. despite the indisputable fact that googling can commonly yield electric powered schematics for most autos, yet again, probably a waste of time.
