The US had nothing to do with saving Britain,the Brits were doing really well in world war 1 & 2 and would of won the war eventually.As for the land of the brave its bollocks,you yanks get afraid and run when in a battle(you have been watching too many movies or been reading false information)Britain is the land of the Brave because they have te heart of a lion and always stand up for themselves and go towards the enemy and thats a fact so live with it.

Wasn't it America that got sold the whole Nazi thing just before WW2?, you know when Hitler sent his blimps over to the US, Swastikas everywhere, looked like something out of V, or Independence Day...

Americans have taught the brits many things about war, mainly 'how NOT to fight one'. The USA have never won a war on their own, they have been humiliated by the Koreans, the Vietnamese and soon by the Iranians. Yanks are hopeless at war and its a shame that so many US citizens hold these crass opinions. Had it not been for the Brits their fleet would have been sunk very quickly in WW2, the brits suggested that they should maybe armour the decks of aircraft carriers, to stop them being sunk by kamakazi pilots.(Obvious...not to the yanks) The brits were the strategists in WW2 not the USA, they were more interested in how they looked in their uniforms. So read the history books and get an education. If you are American you have confirmed your stupidity if you are not...........nice wind-up.

Did you learn any History. We fought and held up the banner justice and freedom whilst you saw the opportunity to make some money out of us and make a cheap land grab. You may not have joined the war unless you were attacked.

A few facts....

We were already pushing the Germans back after the Battle of Brittian.

America didnt "help" us, they were very hansomly paid (we only stopped paying them back for WW2 in 1999).

In football (the proper football, where you kick the ball not run with it) there are pople called "goal hangers". They hang around the goal, and when they see a ball whizzing into the net they give it just a tiny tap and claim they scored the goal. Do you see where im going....?

And my grandfather told me one saying from the war, "When the Germans flew over, we ducked. When we flew over, the Germans ducked. When the Yanks flew over, everyone ducked". As true now as it was then.

America should be trying to make friends with the world. It`s foreign policy, it`s education system and, dare I say it, it`s diet seem to be isolating it from `world thought` it does appear very much that it is usa v Rest of The World.
And all americans are scary, they just shout and abuse everyone becuase they think that just because their teacher/priest/president says something, it must be right. The food over there, coupled with inadequate education has numbed their brains and taken away any sense of freedom of thought.
Well, that is how it comes across to me and most of my friends anyway.

If it wasn't for you Yanks, There would be more British servicemen alive....You killed more Brits than Iraqi's with your 'friendly fire' in the first Guif campaign in 1991....God knows how many of us you killed in WWII. Oh yes, BTW, When I was in the army, we held a NATO exercise involving the Artillery. It included British, Yanks, German, Italian, & Belgian forces. We were firing live shells, but had to end the exercise, because you Yanks were facing your guns the WRONG WAY and were firing at us!!! IDIOTS!
