I have to get braces and really dont want them. I have had them before so my teeth are perfectly strait, but my top and bottom row of teeth dont touch. Im a Junior in high school so was thinking I wanted something the least noticeable since everyone has got their braces off by now... except for the middle schoolers and few in hs. I was thinking I wanted something that blended in more but some people are saying that I should get the metal ones with color bands. Should I really get the obvious ones?? I just dont know what to do and I have to decide like today. Please help!

Cant a dentist put a brace on that looks like the colour of your teeth - if they can do the metal ones with colour bands - why cant a dentist do some that blend in with your teeth. Dont feel trapped into what other people want, they dont have to wear them ! There are so many new things on the market now - so I am sure you can get something you want - go to a good dentist who can help you, and dont worry you wont have to wear them forever.

i had braces,if you really need them get them,theres nothing better htan a beautiful smile ,i know braces are ugly and really uncomfterble but youll get uesd to them,and its worth the pain and everything just think of the results

well one of my friends got the ones where the brackets are white but the food she ate turned them a diff color and it looked horrible and nasty. i would go with the normal metal ones. thats what i have now.

You can get the clear ones just to fix an over or underbite.

get them just coordinate the colors with the holidays.. thats what i did in high school. really it aint that bad. plus you can tell everybody you got a grill.

get the ones that you want. not the ones that people want you to get. go ahead and get them that way you can have realy really nice teeth

yes! they straighten your teeth out and make them look sooo good. they really dont even hurt!

dont be affrade i hade to get braces they only hurt when you get them titened but they dont hurt at all and when you get them off you will be supprised
