I am about to get them in a couple of weeks and I just wanna know.

It really depends on how bad your teeth are and how sensitive you are to pain. I have had braces twice and the first time it didn't really hurt that much but the second time I could hardly bite down after getting them straightened. If you are braces make your teeth hurt, ibuprofen really helps : )

Well yes at first but I've just got mine on just a week ago and the pain is better now. But right after you get your braces on you should keep to soft foods.

when u first get them one they will hurt for like 3-4 days straight after that u start getting used to them.....take Tylenol or Advil and it will relieve some of the pain....the worst part is that when u eat food will always get stuck in them....but its worth the pain for straight teeth

when they are putting them on it dosent hurt at all,but when you get home you start to feel the pain,it only lasts a few days,i was in pain for only 3 days,but remember its all worth the pain = )

hells yeah that hurts... i had them for 4 years and the first 2 or so years they killed!!!!!!!but in the end its worth it. just dont screw them up...like trying to tear them off or break them buy trying to chew caramel.

they hurt a tiny bit at first but then your mouth will get used to it. dont worry!

nooooooooooooooooooooooo it dosnt dont let annyone tell u rong im so scared of pain and i got them and theydidnt hurt

it will feel uncomfortabel for the 1st mth.. next 2 mths u will start to feel better and then, u won't even notice it!

when u first get them and get them adjusted yes.......some wires might poke u........u might need to practice talking so u dont have a lisp
