Yes, but I think it will take quite a few years. Similiar to some of the other issues we currently have with teams moving around, it will just need some time to be worked out. I'd estimate about 5 years after the nets leave a new team shows up there. It may be the case however that basketball ratings continue to drop downwards as david stern attempts to kill the sport entirely. Perhaps the question is how much of the league will be left when NJ gets a new team. Sports ratings as a whole are excellent, only basketball is suffering. Lets hope we can get a new commish that won't make so many mistakes. In answer to your question, yes NJ is likely to get a new team, lets just hope the game still resembles basketball.

No. Jersey fans have proven they are not loyal enough and would bail if the team brought an expansion team there.

If they couldn't sell out when the team was winning 50+ games and going to the finals, what makes you think they will get support when they're losing 60 games a year.

No way. NJ is just a second place NYC team. Being in Brooklyn is closer to Manhatten than NJ

I hope so. But they will have to get a better arena. Continental Airlines Arena is very hard to get to so they have to find somewhere easier to reach.
