i know your tired of hearing "your too young" but the fact is sweetie you are not at an age where you can make a decision like that. you may see other young kids that have it and think its cool and you want to be one of the those kids but the fact is their parents don't care enough about their well being and health. I'm sure if you asked your mother and father what they thought and not a bunch of on-line people that don't even know you the answer would be NO and then they would tell you to wait till you get older...think about the future and about your image that you want to display to others....boys or men might get the wrong impression of you that your easy or freaky and take advantage of that. there are other ways to express your individuality besides piercing body parts or tattoos for that matter i hope you make the right decision and don't do it.

Everytime you think about getting one...Bite down on your tongue and then carry around a piece of metal in your mouth. This shoudl give you the experience. Otherwise, do not be a sheep. Tounge peircing is only a fad done by those that want attention.

At 13 I wanted my tongue pierced also.... they are sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you think your parent(s) would mind? I think you should wait until you are older, just in case it gets infected or you get keiloids... Those are serious... As long as you take care of it, gargle after EVERY meal to be on the safe side and dont aggravate it for at least a few months, you should be alright

wait til u're at least 16 and with a parent's permission. i think that's the youngest they'll do. otherwise, wait til u're 18. it doesn't make u look like anything unless u want it to; meaning other things factor into it like the way u dress, act, etc.

I think it is disgusting and ugly. Food gets stuck in it and who is gonna want to french you? Plus is takes your relationship with guys way down.
