How many weeks should you be?

Between eight and four weeks before your due date. This way it is fairly sure that everything is going as planned, yet you don't run the risk of planning your shower then delivering before it. That is the norm, though both of my showers pushed the three week before delivery mark.

At least 1 or 2 months before the birth

I had mine when I was 6 months pregnant... that way if I didn't get everything I needed at the baby shower I still had time to buy the rest of the stuff I needed without being overwhelmed.

With my last baby shower, I was around 32 weeks. This time, I'll be about 34 weeks.

i would say anywhere between 30-35 weeks my baby shower was 4 days before i went into labor...although she was 5 weeks early..plus if you have if early then you know what you would need to buy insead of waiting untill the baby was born.

Around 7 months for two reasons the first being you might deliver early and the second you will have two months to purchase what you still need and didn't receive as gifts.

I would say about 7 months along unless you know what the baby is. Then whenever you like.

In your 8th month, so you'll know just what you still need to register for and may have an idea of what themes (if any) you like for the nursery, maybe the baby's sex, etc.

I shower my baby after it craps or spews. Don´t wait for weeks, too smelly.
