Here is a videoclip of a woman being tasered by the police with 50,000 volts of electricity.

Right now, police officers can use tasers on citizens for minor reasons. Many people in the United States want tasers banned or they want the police to only use tasers in deadly situations. You may get tased one day for a minor reason, so I suggest you sepak up about how and when police officers can use tasers on citizens.

Very interesting. Speeding, Suspended licenses, failure the obey a police officer, and apparently attempted assault.

She was asking for trouble. Its obvious that this lady is not the brightest bulb in the box.

Tasers are very effective weapons. Listen, if you are tasered by a police officer, then its for sure that you were acting like an azz. People cant just decide that there is no authority. People need to understand that freedom, unlike how the ACLU extremists like to paint it, goes only so far. Kids are being raised in a culture where society is trying to remove all disciplinaries for fear of law suits. Teachers, coaches, police officers, government offices are having their hands tied in their attempts to do their jobs.

I say, you should be shocked if you dont show the respect that these folks deserve.

To the police officers in that video, I say Thank you.

Using the taser is more ethical than a baton or a gun. Tasing is part of the training that officers have to endure before they are issued their badges. They them selves know how it feels. The woman was illegally operating a motor vehicle because she had a suspended license. The officer ordered her to put out her cigarette and to get off the phone. She blatantly ignored the officer. She exaggerated the whole event. You did notice she said that she was going to sue. She knew that the cameras were rolling and she became an actress. The officer repeated his commands twice while telling her the results of her not listening. He told her that she would be tased and she just kept disobeying. Law enforcement officers have a real tough job. She was not just a citizen. She was a unlawful person being apprehended. If police officers just walked around tasing anyone I would be concerned. This case I feel was justified. She should have done exactly what the officer told her to do instead of thinking that she was above the law and didn't have to.

First of all this is not a Football question. I expect to come on here and answer questions regarding who will be the league MVP this year or who will win the Super Bowl or can TO pull his head outta his @$$ with Dallas.

But since I'm hear maybe I should put in my two cents. To ask this question, you obviously have no connection with what it is like to be a police officer. First thing to keep in mind while watching that video, is that generally speaking, anyone who has a run in with the police has done something wrong.

I watched that video. The police officer told the woman repetedly to get out of her SUV. She chose to continue talking on her phone. He then said "get out or I will tase you." She refused to get out. He tased her. The same thing happened again when she refused to follow his orders. He gave her every chance to do what he said before he used force.

Police have a tough job. I think it's funny for people to question their methods when they themselves obviously have no idea what that job is like. It's really easy to say that the officer in the video was excessive, but I ask, what would be the better alternative. Some people just do not respond well to words.

OH MY GOD!!!! EVERYONE LOOK AT THIS GUY'S QUESTIONS!!! HE HAS ASKED IT 5 TIMES NOW!
WHY???????????????????????

HERE AGAIN IS MY ANSWER!!!!!

Oh I've seen this a million times. How stupid do you have to be to not do what a cop tells you to do...PLUS he told her over and over again, I AM GOING TO TASE YOU!!!
If a cop tells you stop, get out of your car, or anything else, and you don't do it...he should be able to shoot you up your a-s.
People are so stupid. If a cop told me I was going to get tased if I didn't get out of the car...guess what I would do...get out of the car.
Dumb broad!

AND ONE MORE THING!! MY UNCLE IS A COP AND I HAVE SEEN HIM GET TASED...THEY ALL HAVE TO GO THROUGH IT! YEAH IT BROUGHT HIM TO THE GROUND...(I SAW IT AND LAUGHED) BUT GIVE ME A BREAK! IT'S NOT LIKE A FRIGGIN BULLET OR ANYTHING...COPS HAVE TO GET TASED TOO IN THE TRAINING! I WISH THE TASERS WOULD BE STRONGER...FOLLOWED ALONG WITH A NICE DOSE OF PEPPER SPRAY.

tazers are to get us used to being servants, and are minor compared to the offenses UN troops do to civilians in countries that they occupy.
