He will be deported and banned from entering the united states for 10 years, after which he can be readmitted, after a lot of convincing that he wont do it again.
To get married to a non american, the american must file a series of court cases to get permission to marry him(K1-K2).
since he is here illegally, the permission will not be granted, and he will be given 30 days to leave the united states, and will be pamanently barred from reentering the usa
either way you are doomed, you are better of going back to your country, and getting in through the front door this time, and hope they dont follow up on what you have done this time around by coming in the back door
the person below me is wrong because you cannot file an I-130 for a person unless they are a child or spouse, YOU need permission to marry her BEFORE you can become a spouse THEN file the I 130 petition, you havent got there yet, she is way ahead of what you are talking about.
one thing she is right about, however, is that the immigration quota for mexico is way too full, if you are mexican, your quota wont be empty till about 80 years or so.

change his status. file an i 130 form with government. go to http://www.uscis.gov and click on forms and download it for your friend. by the way if they are form somewhere other than mexico they will get a green card most likely.

i think the only way he would be able to would to get hitched. and he would hav be hitched for 4 years untill he was pernamentally a citisen.
