Why sometimes the dogs eat junk from the garbage?

I have a dog and I hate him because he always eat that junk and then he throws up.He does in my bedroom and he ruins my clothes.

You ever try eating that dry dog food day after day. You'd probably eat garbage just to get some flavor too! Put that trash can up on the table (on top of something) or put a lid with a weight on top of it. Otherwise try to rinse out all food cans/items so the scent doesn't attract him. Another thing, put your clothes up or in a basket at least so they aren't on the floor for him to puke on. That's all I can tell you.

It is a basic instinct. Dogs do not distinguish between good food and discarded food. Their instinct for survival is to eat when you can eat cause you do not know when you may be able to eat again. So they see the garbage as something they can eat. Do a better job of making the garbage unattainable by your dog.

you might want to try feeding him once in a while. dont let him near the garbages. dont let him in your room. problem solved.

Hey,,, why dont you put up a fence dummy,,,,, or put your garbage in a can with a lid on it.....

if you would feed him,,, he might stay away from that crap....
