Well, it's not so much of you wanting to ask him out. Does he like you back? Maybe that's what is holding you back from doing anything. You might be scared of the rejection. Just remember, go up to him, ask him how is day is, get to know him for awhile. Let your friend get angry, she's not supposed to be the one keeping you from your highschool drama. Just tell her you like this boy, and tell her you want to get to know him better. If she doesn't understand, the last resort is murder. Have fun!

Be yourself ! If you really want to ask this guy out, then take a chance and just do it ! If you keep second guess yourself, you will never grow to be a strong woman ! oh and about your girlfriend....... do what you need to do girl, if she is your real friend she will be happy for you that you got the guts enough to ask her brother out ! and always remember ! BE PROUD TO BE YOURSELF !

You must be going after a guy that your friend also has their sights set on, and don't want you to get in the way. Honesty is the best policy, just ask her if she has an interest in this guy!

For starters, your friend is going to have to learn to share. I had a friend like that and it got pretty bad so I backed away from her after I told her I'm not her boyfriend and to stop treating me like I am. It was just, weird.
As for asking him out, just do it. Something casual, so you can talk one on one and see if he's receptive to a relationship.

Just ask your best friend if its okay! Seriously. If she's your best friend, she won't get mad, and she'll be happy you trust her to talk about it. Just remember she IS your best friend. If she does get upset, don't throw away the friendship over it. Best friends are too important to split up over a guy.

Maybe you should wait and see if that boy asks you out? My best advice to you is that no matter what, don't ditch your friend for that boy. Make sure you always have her back and keep her by your side! That's key!
