I have invented regular socks with a padded bottom that you wear in the kitchen and around the house to wipe up spots and spills on hardwood, ceramic tiles, etc.. rather than moping. Just a quick easy way to do an inbetween clean.

Sorry, not something I'd buy.

I would need to have answers for the following questions before I would consider buying something like this:

Are the pads removeable and washable? Is it a one size fits all? What is it made of? Are there any cleaning solutions within the padding? Does the 'sock' have to be dipped in liquid before cleaning? Is it hypo-allergenic? Would it harm animals after use? Does it come in colors? Can refill pads be purchased? Who makes the product?

These are just a few questions I would have about the product.

Good luck with it!! Ya never know!!

Honestly, no. Wearing a cleaning product just sounds gross, even if it does the job. I think people are more likely to buy a product that keeps them from coming in contact with filth, and your sock mops would be too much contact. However, you are a thinker, so maybe you'll come up with something better. Good luck!

depends, are the socks thick enough to prevent any wetness mopped up from touching my feet in the socks?? If so, then yes I would totally buy them. Otherwise no it would just be icky. It would also be nice if they have like, a loop or something on the back of them that you can stick your finger through to get them off rather than having to touch a used sockmop. Just some ideas...

This would be great for people w/ back problems etc. If they could be made diposable..large enough to be put over shoes so your feet don't get wet...(kinda like hospital shoe covers) Cost will be an issue so you can throw them away like paper towels. You know...they would be great to dry the floor after a regular mopping as well...Good Luck!!

Great idea!!
Hey how bout a mop head made out of socks?? That would be a recycled product!!!
I think you need an infomercial and a charity to split proceeds with and you are on your way!!

is there a rubber sole to keep the spilt juice or whatever from getting on your feet or is it just a ordiary sock with a sponge glued/sown on? what is the price of these socks? do they come in singles or a pair? are they reusable? im not sure..., i probably wouldn't buy it because having to bend down/sit down to put on a pair of socks to wipe up a spill would suck, id rather use my swiffer sweeper.

Yes I love walking around with wet, dirty, sticky feet. I feel a need to peacefully coexist with my foot fungus. We must peacefully coexist with the microorganisms otherwise we will see more evil microorganisms such as resistant forms of bacteria, bird flu and mad cow disease. Sounds good, but how would you keep your feet from getting wet and soggy? Would you have to change pairs after every clean up? Might become rather costly.

Instead of investing your money on these sock mops, invest it in tacos from Taco Bell. When all your money is gone you can say you had a good life.

No I probably wouldn't. Sorry. I can just see myself slipping on the floor and falling on my butt and hitting my head.......... I think I'll stick with a conventional mop or a rag.
