Even if you dont have acne orneed acne prevention, there is dirt in the air. You also sweat, even if you don't notice it, and this is what clogs pores and causes blackheads and pimples.

Try using a cream cleanser, they tend to be less drying, but clean. I like Clean and Clears deep cleanser(link below). You SHOULD exfoliate every few days, less in the winter/more in the summer. Exfoliating will make your skin look fresher, and seem brighter. If you don't like using creams or any moisturizing agents, try using a cream exfoliator. This will leave exfoliation to one simple, easy step..washing your face :)

This stuff is readily available and pretty inexpensive. Remember to always wash your face, morning and night, especially if you wear make up! Hope that helped!! Goolduck :)

here are the products i was talking about..

When I was in 6th and 7th grade I had acne. Both under and over the skin. It wasn't that bad, but it was still acne. I read somewhere that not drinking sodas and drinking water helps. So, I tried that. I started drinking about 3 or 4 bottles a day, and my acne got worse (because water cleanses your system and it had to push the toxins out somewhere) and then it got better after about a week or few days. My face and skin were very clear, and not a spot there. I still use acne wash just to keep my skin from getting greasy though. But also, if you only drink 3/4 bottles or glasses your body will retain the warer. So drink 6-8 so you get rid of all the water in your body. I just increased to 8 glasses and my skin got even better.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Try the Intelligence Daily Cleanser from Arbonne. It gently cleanses and also moisturizes the skin at the same time. To help prevent break-outs and acne it is best to wash your face in the morning and in the evening...no more than that is needed. Be sure to keep from touching your face with your hands as this can spread bacteria and cause acne and/or break-outs.

Check out my web-site if you have any questions.

Definitely not a bar of soap! As a professional in the area of make up and beauty care I can tell you this - find a mild cleanser (something you can leather you and rinse with warm water). And do not buy into the idea that the more expensive the better. Try Cetaphyl - it is mild, time-proved, and very affordable.

Spectro Gel ............is awesome....wont dry your face....will prevent any possible acne breakouts...its a reasonably cheap product.......I have been using it for over 15 years and love it....it comes in original, sensitive or oily skin formations....my children use it as an all over body wash in the shower to prevent any eczema outbreaks which occasional occur over the winter months. Give it a try, you too will love it! L.Butler

I use an organic face/body wash that has natural ingredients and a lot of essential oils. It's called Clean Enfusion (I believe) by Enfusia. I got it at Whole Foods. It doesn't dry out your skin, and it actually has healthy things in it.

I would use 302 facial soap! Unlike other soaps like pro active and stuff it builds up your epidermis instead of taking away layers of your skin.
