Best of all, devise the best way to end each of these comic strips so that we can be put out of our misery and the newspapers can make room for better comic strips. For example, Beetle Bailey and Sgt. Snorkle get caught in the shower with one another, are thrown out of the military, etc. etc.
10 points for the best way to end these lame-o strips once and for all.

Let me clarify matters. All five have the same cotton-picking joke over and over and over and over and over again. Cathy can't find a swimsuit. Jeffy and PJ say something so freakng adorable that you need insulin to read it. Beetle Bailey gets beaten up by Sarge. Jon can't get a date and ends up boinking Odie every Saturday night. Snuffy Smith goes to jail for stealing a chicken. CAN'T THESE GUYS THINK UP SOMETHING NEW?

I like Family Circus. Cathy actually appeals to the working single,dating,close to their parents crowd. Beetle Bailey to army active and veterans. Garfield has a strong following with the sarcastic/smart Alec crowd. Snuffy Smith,I have no idea unless he cleans up with the Lil Abner crowd. Rest assured however that if any of these comic strips did not have a large audience their contracts would not be renewed.Laughter is the best medicine and good for the soul. Peace.

You've got serious issues. Everyone has the same everyday experiences. It's just finding a new way to look at them that makes them interesting. And I can guarantee they have more problems than you're spouting. For example, Cathy battles with her mother, her dog, her job, her weight, and now, her husband. I think most of us have problems like those.

I used to like Garfield but now its just stupid. Family Circus has un-funny cutesy things involving kids.
