How do you like the music they play when you are on hold for some businesses? Does the music help or hinder you mood?

It does depend on how much they have splurged on their hold music.

I've heard good music that makes you happy when they finally do answer, music that makes you forget why you called in the first place.

Who hasn't had to cling to their desk listening to the two toned slaughter of "Für Elise"

Does Hewlett Packard use Vivaldi's Four seasons in the rest of the world? I once heard the whole year!

If it is too peaceful it lets you build up steam if you're on hold too long. It needs to have beat so you get lost in your happy thoughts remembering where you were when you heard the song and so on.

Has anyone ever had jokes told to them while waiting? Wouldnt that be a gas? Some good, clean, minority-safe (just invented that) jokes that really put you in a good mood.

Sometimes when I am mad it makes me madder.
For bills or business issues it is like waiting for the dentist.
